No finish line - 2km short of 1,000km!

01/12/2011

The 12th session of the No Finish Line organised by the association "Children and Future" took place on the Port Hercules in Monaco from 12th to 20th of November.

The first NFL started in 1999 with only 750 participants. This year there were more than 6000 runners who ran a total of 223 644 km. For every kilometre which was run or walked  €1.00 was collected for the association. This year, €223,644 was collected and will be distributed to children in need.

For the second time Rosemont Monaco was proud to participate in this charity event. For our first participation the Rosemont team ran 912kms and this year the combined Rosemont/Monoeci team ran 998kms.

For the 2012 edition we shall be doubling our efforts in order to help this charity even more.

Even though we are not a big company, we were ranked 51 out of 228 participating companies, beating large entities and banks such as UBS, Tamoil, Safra and Carrefour; which proves that motivation, ambition, group spirit and  will-power is more important than the size of a company.

The Foundation Mitchell (a Monegasque foundation) which Rosemont administers on a charitable basis made an important donation to the association.

Rosemont is determined to carry on participating and to encourage more people to get involved in this worthwhile event for many years, in order to continue helping children in need.
